In September 2009, Alex was the season winner in Nashville’s “15 Minutes of Fame Jr”, a local Cable TV youth talent competition for artists ages 9 to 17 who are actively pursuing their music career. With performances judged by Nashville’s music industry professionals, Alex was the judges’ unanimous pick and was awarded his own 30 minute TV special for top prize. Earlier that summer, Alex placed 3rd out of 67 writers in a local song-writer's competition among many veteran local songwriters.
